re: spam issues – to me, the biggest thing is that if someone doesn’t open or click in 30 days, they come off the list.
that helps keep the list clean.
you want to keep spam complaints to a minimum.
And really offer value in your list
but I think the biggest thing is to keep your list small, ONLY sending to people who WANT to read your emails
that way the email services don’t see you with 95% emails unread
you want to keep opens and clicks high, also interaction – so once a week send an email that gets folks to respond, then write them back.
The engagement helps, from what I understand
