I am currently on Day 22 of my “Free Campaign” – just completed three weeks…

Get Response says I have a 67% open rate (272 sent and 112 opened); But only a 3.44% click through rate (9 clicks)

I like the open rate (remember, this is a list of people who have joined the Free Membership).

But I’m concerned about the click through rate…now, I do not have “click through links” on every email…most are content driven and only about 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 offer anything to “click through.” So so should I multiply the click through rate by 3 or 4 to make up for that?

If I did, then my rates would: Open rate 67% and click through rate between 10.32 and 13.76 (average of 12%).

I’m just trying to figure out if these rates are “normal” or not.

    Thanks

    Bob

click rates should be about 50% of click rate

but if it’s only a ps link or a by the way link, they will be much lower

    it depends on the email

    a content email: near zero

an email that has as it’s purpose to get someone to click a link: 50% or more of open rate

I suspect your issue is that you are “by the waying” these links . . .
