What are some things that we can do with this useful information? We can use these problems and pain points in our emails. We can use those pain points in our sales letters. We can use those pain points to know what products to create. We even can use those pain points to determine what to put in our initial download! Remember, if you’re starting out from absolute scratch, your initial download is probably not going to address all of those problems. But, once you discover what 20 to 30 of the real problems real people are experiencing in your […]

A Summary of the Funnel Model

Now what I want to do is just take this then to the next level. You might be thinking, “well, I put the first 100 subscribers through here, am I going to get this kind of revenue?” Of course not. Why? Because, emails have not been optimized yet.  You’re going to have some emails in there that perform really poorly.  You’re going to have emails that perform really well. Of course you won’t do that well on your conversion rates.  You’re going to need run 1k visits to a particular sales page, and run optimization on it.  Test the headlines, […]

Determining Your Dollars-per-Subscriber

Now I’m going to take this model one step further. Let’s say we have 100 subscribers.  They’re going to get 45 emails over the course of their first 30 days on the list.  There are 4500 emails that are going to go out over the course of next 30 days.  Out to those 100 subscribers, 4500 total emails are going to go out.  So 45 emails per person times 100 people is 4500 emails. I want us to imagine that all we do is get an average email to convert at a 10% click-through rate.  Some will be at 20%, […]

Tracking and Evaluating Your Funnel

There’s a lot of different ways we can do the next step.  We can set up tracking software, to be able to track the visitors as they’re coming through.  We can set up tracking software so that we can look at conversion rates for each specific sales page.  We can look at conversion rates and clicks on each of the emails. For now, we’re creating an imaginary scenario where we’re going to get 100 people in on day 1 and in 30 days we can evaluate the campaign and funnel.  In real life it’s going to be a rolling scenario.  […]

How to Promote Your Funnel

Then on top of that we have to lay on sales pages.  There are a number of different ways to do sales pages.  People can either can either learn how to write their own (there’s a number of marketers out there that teach that, I’ve even got a simple training for doing that) or, people can go get a ready-made software that writes it for them.  You just have to plug in specific topics.  It’s a generic sales letter, and you just plug in specific topics and it builds them up. Marlon Sanders sells one at www.pushbuttonletters.com. Or, someone could […]

Creating a High-Level, Advanced Product

What do we need to run an advanced program?  What can we sell for $297?  What I like to see is a 10 hour MP3 or video series.  I believe that every single information marketer that has any business selling courses in what they know should be able to teach for 10 hours on their topic.  If they can’t, they need to learn some more information.  I just really believe that. I know that may sound to some people harsh.  But I genuinely believe that.  Anybody that says “I know enough about something to teach you what I know” should […]

Why You Need a Coaching Program Right Away

Now I want to imagine that creating these things is really easy.  Because with the coaching program, all you have to do is show up 1 time a week for 1 hour and teach everybody that shows up.  I mean, really, that’s all that has to be done for coaching.  Coaching doesn’t even have to come with lessons.  It really can be live! You could do 1 on 1 with your first client; you can do it with a group of 8 people – however many you have signed up.  Now that’s coaching. Coaching is really easy.  Coaching does not […]

How to Create Your Reverse Funnel Fast

The final thing I want to kind of go over is how to make all this happen fast.  One of the things that I’ve learned is that if you put your head down, you can get as much done in 30 days as you can a full year.  In fact, many times you can do more. Here’s why: because you’re excited today.  Your client is excited today.  Again, you’re excited today.  We get more done when we’re excited. Let’s face it, in 30 days, you probably won’t be as excited as you are right now.  Right now you’re excited about […]

Breaking Out Your Lower-Ticket Products

Let’s say you have a coaching program at $300, $400, or $500 each month.  What if we have some clients who can’t afford or aren’t willing to invest $300, $400, or $500?  We create a mini coaching program at $100 a month, that doesn’t contain as much information, doesn’t guarantee the same level of results, but it’s something that they can afford.  They can start out with that, and maybe at some point in the future they upgrade to the bigger program. You notice in all of these things that we’re doing, we’re starting with the highest price, and we’re […]
